   This Pablo Coelho me seems a great humbug. Not taste of it. Já li livros dele, e os vejo como lixos da literatura (não sei como vendem tanto!). Uma pena que esse autor seja um símbolo do Brasil no exterior.

    Os livros dele são literatura popular, cheios de clichês e bondades que as pessoas comuns gostam de ler.

    É como uma novela da Globo, mas no papel.

    Mas ainda assim é melhor ler isso, que não ler. As mensagens de fundo são boas, tais como solidariedade, amor, trabalho, esforço, etc… não vejo absolutamente nada de ruim em Paulo Coelho, apesar de achar seu modo de escrever pobre.

    De qualquer modo, ele se destaca por ter competência no que faz, com foco no público-alvo.

    Quanto essa história de d… ele conta em Diário de um Mago (sim, eu li!) que resolveu deixar disso após uma experiência traumática regada a muito álcool e drogas, e muito, mas muito antes de fazer sucesso como escritor, visto que ele já era um sucesso como compositor de muitas músicas do genial Raul Seixas.
